Marty has practiced commercial law for more than thirty years and serves as the legal, governance, and risk anchor of the firm. He is a named partner at Pagel, Davis & Hill, P.C., a Houston business law firm where he leads the litigation practice and has counseled boards, founders, and closely held companies since 1992. He has served as outside general counsel and director-level advisor to operating businesses across a broad range of industries. At Celesium, he brings that operating-counsel discipline to how the firm structures investments, governs platforms, and manages risk on behalf of its partners.

Phillip leads investment activity and platform oversight at Celesium, with particular focus on healthcare, technology, and commercial real estate. He has spent the better part of two decades operating at the intersection of private capital and healthcare leadership, previously as Managing Director of a Houston-based family office and earlier as a member of the faculty at Baylor College of Medicine and the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Over the course of his career he has served on the boards and as chairman of numerous operating companies, and currently chairs and oversees several of Celesium's portfolio platforms. His work centers on backing operators, supporting sustainable growth, and building the kind of teams that drive durable change in their industries.

Jonathan leads operations and portfolio management at Celesium, with responsibility for how the firm executes across its platforms day to day. He previously served as Managing Director of a large regional family office, where he oversaw direct investments and operating company management across retail, commercial real estate, technology, and energy. He brings a builder's perspective to the operating challenges Celesium's businesses face, with an emphasis on the unglamorous work that compounds — disciplined execution, hands-on management, and the systems that turn good businesses into durable ones.
